3rd Super Post (All you need is time)

This is a special post. It has been a year since I last updated this blog, and in that year contemplation has been in motion. As it said in my last post, I planned on writing a Fate of the Bane trilogy. The names of the movies were Born, Bane, and Fate. "I'm a man of my word." -Dark Knight. As you can see below, I have put together summaries and title arts for each film. The summaries don't give much information and scripts are no where near finished. However, a beam of light has shined down, and it is apparent that the story is in its general path. Read and enjoy.

Secondly, some of you might have heard about the Red vs. Blue comedy Matt (Assistant Director) and I were putting together. THE SCRIPT WAS AWESOME!!! We were on a role with that thing. However, we had to bring it to a temporary halt since I will be leaving for a mission in a week. Anyways, the reason why it was such a great idea, script, movie, etc., was because it required next to NO money/extra equipment. All you need is a couple XBox 360's and a couple copies of Halo 3. The use of a game engine to make a movie is however not an original idea. Red vs. Blue is actually already a highly acclaimed internet show. I was drawn into Red vs. Blue because:

#1- I love Halo.

#2- It was a clever idea.

#3- It actually had a great storyline.

#4- It was, without a doubt, ABSOLUTELY HILARIOUS!!!!

Anyways, Matt and I's conversations on the phone mostly revolve around comical ideas and ways to alter serious matters into comically ironic situations. We found that Red vs. Blue was a nav point toward displaying our comical ideas. With a little initiative, we went through with it. So, as we started discussing the script, ideas just came right away, and the script flowed so well that we were very much drawn into the project. However, we were missing one crucial thing. Time. The film was looking so great that it would be insulting it if we didn't make sequels. So, we brought to a temporary halt. We were lucky enough to make a trailer, which can be viewed below. One thing is for sure though, we are SO gonna finish this project when I get back.

So, the whole purpose of this post was to tie the loose ends. I am leaving for my mission on the 11th, so I figured this would be a good time to do this. As you can see, the whole format of the blog has been altered. At the bottom you will see an updated list of future projects. On the side you will see the usual post archives and video bar. Information about me has changed, and so has the crew section. You should also be reminded that some of the previous posts have a link on them. This is because some of the pictures and photos are cut off due to the process of moving posts from the other blog to this one. Just click on those links and it will bring you to a better view of the video/photo. So, in a nutshell, it's still LMP (Live Mastered Productions).

...until next time,

Damian Parente

The Fate of the Bane Trilogy-

Born: The Born are a very pure people. Their life revolves around purity. They live in the forest called Grace. Evelyn Eve is the queen and Krin is the King. The 2 best guardians, Galant and Georenth, are held high in the queens favor. As guardians, they are charged with the defence of the forest kingdom, Grace. Galant has lived a normal life with nothing out of the usual. Georenth however was once abducted and tortured by some unknown face. By some coincidence, Georenth sees Galant talking with person of ill memory on the borders of the forest. Georenth becomes angry after being told by Evelyn that it is not his business or concern, and to leave it be. Georenth proceeds to stir the Bron men to anger which leads to their betrayal.

Bane: The Born men return to the forest with intentions of malice and destruction, and they succeed. They kill Krin and more than half of the Born women. The children do not survive. The remnants of the forest people flee into the mountains in hopes to receive counsel with their old allies, the Fate. After the forest burnt and overrun, these Born men proceeded in calling themselves the Bane. They then seek to destroy those who have dominion over the earth, men (humans). For means of secrecy, their first target would be the hidden city of Parentis. The Fate gained knowledge of this, put the Born into safety, and go forth to defend Parentis. Some of the Born are stubborn enough to leave the group and give their own lives at Parentis.

Fate:
The Bane suffer a defeat at Parentis. Man decides to stand with the Fate and the Born as allies. However, the Bane have multiplied greatly, and numbers become crucial in this situation. 1 Fate, 1 Born, and 1 Man go unto the Gods for help. The Gods have rejected their duties and have become prideful and selfish. The God leader tells the 3 people to leave and he will not help them. The God leader's son disagrees. The 3 people walk away in despair. They proceed to lead their small armies into the heart of Bane territory for one final stand. Then, when they are on the brink of destruction, the Gad leader's son comes to protect them and loses his life. Before he dies he gives word of some hidden hope in Northern Mountains. To end, I will say this- "Killing a God is a VERY STUPID thing to do. The God leader will be pissed, and the Bane's Fate will soon be decided.".

Back for More: The Big Leap

Well, what can I say. The Fate of the Bane was unsuccessful. However, this has been no time of sitting around moping about it. I have been putting together a trilogy for the movie over the past 6 months. This summer I have decided to go ahead and give people an idea of what these full length pictures may look like. I'll be showing animation cinematics, drawings, story details, and hopefully some video taped meetings.

This is it in a nutshell. The Fate of the Bane was to be a 5 minute clip of a battle that does take place in the big picture. Little did I any everyone else know that this was a world that was unfolding in my imagination. It has expanded IMMENSELY. There is so much to tell. I cannot express it in this post. The best way to conclude this post is to propose a few things.

1- The 3 parts of the trilogy will be called "Born", "Bane", and "Fate".

2- The script for Born will begin in June.

3- The name of the trilogy will be called "The Fate of the Bane Trilogy".

2 Masters

I talked to my Producer, Christian Craig. He came to me with an idea of a story for the full length picture of "The Fate of the Bane". I was impressed that he came to me with such thoughts, but I was even more impressed that his idea of the story was so similar to mine (he had little understanding of my story at the time). I proceeded to tell him how I have been slowly contemplating the story for "The Fate of the Bane". (unfinished post)

Another GREAT Desktop

Ganondorf is one of my personal favorite villains.

Not One, But Many!!!

At this point in time I have many projects in the making: Stick Soldiers, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, The Fate of the Bane, Born, R2D2 vs. C3PO, Star Wars: The Exile, etc. These projects are NON-PROFIT films, except for Stick Soldiers and The Fate of the Bane. One of these projects is displayed in the featured wallpaper. This is something that I REALLY REALLY REALLY want to do, but is VERY VERY VERY HARD. In fact, at this stage, it is TOO HARD. Please enjoy this image which was rendered in HD. Enlarge it, you should see.

PS- The person and title were not created by me.

The New Project

The Fate of the Bane was not unsuccessful. It has simply come to a halt in production. I was searching through my head on what to do next. I was thinking something more simple. In the course of thinking, it came to me that there was one project of mine came to a halt years ago, and that was Stick Soldiers, the video game. I thought that maybe I could make a game play video and send it in to a studio to see what they think. The idea is original and simple. I will probably make another blog for it. As far as the crew goes, I know Matt will be interested in it, but I don't know about Christian. I will be posting soon.

Bitter Cold and Unsuccessful

I am displeased to announce that the film will not be entered in the contest. Nor is the movie documentary. This is unfortunate, but it isn't over. With the consent of the rest of the crew, I have decided that we should make a full length 3d animated film to enter into Sun Dance sometime before or after my mission.

THIS IS HOW THEY DO IT!!!

This is the original and ordinary way a Fate walks. Pretty Cool huh?! :)

The Fate Now Walk

Yep! That's right! This is the first time the Fate have walked! The only problem is that it's not a very good animation, and the rigging needs a lot of work. Also, you'll notice that it looks a little different from the other videos. That's because it's not rendered. It's simply a preview animation. This is pretty exciting for me to see the Fate come to life! HAHA!

Shooting on September 28th-29th!!!

This is the moment where things will come to a climax! The documentary will be at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on September 28th and 29th. The event will actually be quite big seeing as how we are hopefully expecting to see up to 20 people there. This blog will be infested with ads and photos in the next couple weeks. We hope all will go well on the day of shooting. Wish us luck!!!
PS- Our teaser trailer is below.....brings back old memories! :)

The Bane Concept

This is a short video clip of the Bane. While was doing the video clip, I noticed a problem with the feet. So, I cut them out of the video. The feet haven't even been started on the Fate. Although it is not complete, it's looking great!

Nearly Armed and Ready!!!

The Fate and the Bane are nearly ready for the documentary. I still have to find out how to film it, whether it's renting a professional camera or using a camcorder. You can see above the Bane Axe and Hammer, symbolizing "Almost Ready for Battle".

PS- I'll be posting a whole lot now that the Mid-Term is really close.

New Wallpaer

Although the film is far from finished, it's no bad thing to celebrate a simple part of it.

The Fate Concept

The Fate just about ready for the documentary. I just have to fix some rigging issues and FINISH rigging a few things. (Rigging means to make it so that it can move all its limbs). This is a short video of the Fate. I will be posting a lot of these. Hope y'all like it.

Live or Real

I've given some thought to changing the logo to Realistic Mastered Productions instead of
Live Mastered Productions. I still have to discuss it with my producer and assistant. The film
has been called to a Mid-Term. What's going to happen is the film will be a documentary of how far we have gotten, along with a couple cool battle scenes to show off. If we win, we will bring the movie to a halt and start on our next project, but if we lose, we will continue on it, and I don't know exactly what to do from there.

It's Coming!...IN SHORT?

Yes, the movie is being shortened into a trailer for the better good. It'll leave me and my crew more time to render and send in the DVD to Culture Shapers(the contest). Besides that, it's coming along well. As you can see, the Bane is awesome. the hammer is about finished and I'm working on the sword right now. All is well! And the movie will be great!

Music Master

I am currently negotiating with Howard Shore to get a hold on some music. Although we already have a music director, we are running short on time. So, he won't be doing all of the music most likely. It's actually just a big mess. So, I don't have enough information to really specify what's going on.
Earlier in production, me and the crew were set on putting a King of the city in the movie. Unfortunately, due to time loss, the king will have little to do with the film, if not any.
I am currently multi-tasking including buildings, footage, Fate, and Bane. The only thing that is getting to be pretty frustrating is the Ranger, which is currently not coming along well. We can only hope that this will eventually all come together.

FYI Info.

Our crew now has a company email. livemasteredproductions@yahoo .com. Thanks to Christian Craig (Producer). Also I think I should remind y'all that we will eventually stop posting when the pictures turn into finished movie scenes. Besides! We don't want to spoil the movie!

2nd Super Post

This is the best post ever!!! It is also one of the biggest! Check out the Fate. Its armor is in the making. One of the pictures shows the bones of the Fate which is used to animate the model. I also knew since the beginning that the eyes needed to be a lot more realistic. So, I sort of gave him pupils. The flap on his lower back goes up and down with the tail. His teeth are done, his helmet is basically done, but jaw may need alittle more work. Another great thing is that I got permission to use a full body man model in order to do the Bane, Fate, Ranger, Soldiers, and for the first time mentioned, the King. Also an improved screenshot from the "Marching and Talking" scene with a cool motion blur, and the beginnings of texturing. The soldier swords do look stupid right now, but their in the making. Well! I hope y'all enjoyed this Super Post! See ya!
PS- Although we stalled for a long time, I have 110% faith that we will finish this movie on time.

Footage Has Begun!!!

As you can see I have been doing little things at once. The Bane Sword, City Flags, and.....OH look! The teeth of the Fate. Then there is the first scene that I have been layering to make it more and more realistic. This basically means that the footage has begun. I will soon be able to have a layout of each scene and add to it as I go. This will make things a lot easier! Got more stuff to show y'all later! See ya!

The LMP Machine Takes Off!!!

The Fate of the Bane is once again up and running, and so is the new computer. She's now the new ultimate LMP super station used to do animation, modeling, sound effects, music, texturing, and much more. It is all we need in order to finish the movie. I have had many doubts about whether the movie will be finished in time or not, but I think that a few changes in schedule will change that. (There will be some major changes as far as trailer release dates). We hope to succeed in finishing this awesome project in time for the contest.

As you can see- I'VE BEEN WORKING!!! The new and improved Fate is starting to take shape. The helmet is becoming more elegant and more aerodynamic. It is designed for speeds up to 500 mph. In other words, theses guys are FAST!!!! If you look closely, you can see that I've started on the teeth. Though I haven't decided if it will have teeth or a beak. The neck needs working on too. Also the LMP logo is going to be different in the Trailer. (In the end, we will decide which one is the best) From here on out, I will be posting quite frequently on the movie. Well! I've gotta go! Got lots of movie work to do! See ya!!!
